About Us

Satya Anuragi Sanstha , is a non-profit organization working for the betterment of the society. The SAS Academy was started by the blessings of Swami Shukdevanand Giri Ji for the welfare of the local people of Uttarkashi. It is envisaged as a holistic school catering not only to the scholastic development, but also moral and spiritual development of the child.
The school has grown into its present form with a new well-equipped, state of the art building and is proudly the first environmentally friendly school of the region. The school has classes from KG to Class 8 and proposes to have CBSE Certification soon , in order to introduce Class 9 and 10. An array of dedicated and professionally qualified teachers and staff make the academic learning wholesome and interesting. Computer lab, Science lab, library and other such advanced facilities are available for every student. Activities for physical and moral development like yoga, Indian classical music and art, form an integral part of the modern curriculum. The visionaries of tomorrow are encouraged to flourish in an atmosphere of creativity, action and service to become responsible global citizens.
The school encourages active participation of parents and the local community wherein, everyone works towards a single goal of providing and assisting the development of the child in order to give him a bright future.
